Beatrice
Beatrice is an ever so English, rare cloth Alpha doll by Farnell with footlabel c.1930s. She's fully-jointed and 18 inches tall, with a head of beautiful curly hair. Her cotton print dress and matching bloomers are original, and her antique felt shoes and new socks, more recent additions, along with her vintage 'pearl' necklace.
Her face is felt with painted features, and her woodwool-filled torso is made of cloth, and her kapok-stuffed limbs are velvet. The velvet on her hands has darkened slightly with age, and her face has two tiny holes towards her hairline at the side of her head. Overall, though, she's in good clean condition, with no repairs.
Beatrice also brings her antique tinplate rattle. Her name is Latin for 'she who brings joy', and this delightful lady certainly does.
